The Group

The group was affiliated with Institute for Molecular Biology and Biophysics, ETH Hönggerberg, Zürich, and was mainly active in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

The group was active until March 31, 2017. We were interested in structure, dynamics, function and interactions of biological macromolecules and their complexes. Our main working tool was nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Further the group leader was the head of the biological NMR spectroscopy platform (DownloadBNSP) of the department of biology at the ETH. - NMR has a long tradition at the ETH and two of its researchers were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their contributions to the development of NMR spectroscopy (Prof. R.R. Ernst (1991) and Prof. K. Wüthrich (2002)).
